Lisa coaches PDA’s Junior Olympic and Novice diving programs as well as Biola University’s diving program. Lisa has been with PDA since 2003. She has traveled to China twice to study the best diving program in the world. Lisa has had many National qualifiers and champions in the JO and Novice programs along with many NCAA Division III and NAIA National College qualifiers.
In 1997, Amy, a 4-time NCAA diver/former level 10 gymnast, and Andy, a 1980 and 1984 Olympic diver, Kwan used their individual and educational backgrounds to create Pacific Diving. They started with 5 divers and a pool. In 2000, they opened a small diving gym in Norwalk training 40+ divers. Amy and Andy’s vision grew with developing a business plan to incorporate 2 Olympic Sports in one venue. In 2004, they opened PDA USA Sports Training Center, a non-profit organization for developing divers and gymnasts.
What we do
We work each child on an individual basis to give them the ability to reach their potential. We give children direction, desire, and determination to become successful adults in all walks of life. We strive to give all of our divers an opportunity to earn an athletic scholarship to college.
